
This particular accordion was made in Serbia in the late 1990s. Original Italian parts have been used throughout. The hand-made "bombate" Cagnoni reeds sound fabulous. The keyboard action is great. The bellows are like new. The treble body is a very close match to the original based on woods and geometry. The bass side is different and ergonomically optimized, lighter weight than the Italian models. The bass mechanics is the same as in the 1950-60s Dallape accordions with low A reed configuration. The accordion has been played with respect and has matured nicely over the last 25 years. I tuned it in November 2025 and it sounds fabulous (listen to the demo).
