(SEM) Concert Double Tone Chamber Accordionwith
MIDI and Microphones
This
is the top of the line professional SEM accordion built for Iorio.
The instrument features 4/5 sets of hand-made reeds with genuine
leather valves. The bassoon and clarinet reeds are in a double tone
chamber. The acoustic accordion is complemented by modern Musictech
KING
MAJOR MIDI with electromagnetic sensors and
built-in sound card and condenser microphones. SEM is now part
of Scandalli. Combining the acoustic and
electronic features would cover any repertoire from classical to
jazz to ethnic music.

Please, reed the comments in

accordion has been serviced at the Accordion Gallery and
looks,feels, and sounds great. The new owner will enjoy a
well built instrument with smooth mechanics and beautiful
tone. The MIDI will open a
whole new world for orchestration and musical expression. The
microphones can be used independent of the MIDI.
You can play this accordion as acoustic instrument without any
electronics. With any amplifier you can get the benefit of full
orchestration using the built-in sound card and microphones. In
case you wish to use an additional external MIDI module all you
need to do is connect it to the MIDI OUT port of the power
supply.

The MIDI controller is programmed.
Through the gill panel the performer can recall any preset,
activate bellows dynamics,
turn on/off each MIDI channel etc. The accordion can be played with
the internal sound card without additional MIDI module.
On the
lower side of the grill (see picture below) the are 3 connectors:
1. 1/4"
pick up for the condenser microphones - connects to an amplifier
(not included)
2. MIDI
port - connects to the MIDI power supply (TO ACCORDION)
3. 1/4" jack for the built-in sound card
- connects to am amplifier (not included)
The
amplification can be used independent of the MIDI.
The
accordion comes with very comfortable Italian strap with 3.5" width at
the padded area.

The MIDI
has been factory-installed and is very neat.
The
cables are properly routed without interference with the mechanical
components of the instrument.

appreciate the hand-made reeds and genuine leather reed valves, all in
excellent condition.

reeds voicing and tuning was performed in April 2023.
