We are very pleased to announce that our friend and featured artist Alex Meixner has reaffirmed his endorsement of the Siwa & Figli accordions by acquiring a Super Quattro Compact Hey-di MIDI accordion with Cleveland tuning. You have to see Alex on stage to know how passionate he is about performing. His energy flows through the reeds.

Dear Accordion Friends,
I am a Physicist by trade (Ph.D.) and an Accordionist by heart. My education and engineering experience have been very helpful in understanding the internal mechanisms of the accordion and often help me come up with a custom solution for a particular problem. In addition, I have been fortunate to learn the art of accordion restoration from masters like Beni Cintioli, Dale Wise, and Aldo Mencaccini. I am the proud owner of Aldo's personal toolbox. The collaboration with Ivan Stanojlovic at Siwa & Figli broadened my understanding of the intricate processes involved in crafting some of the finest accordions available today and has been a continuous source of knowledge and inspiration.
For years I have been on a mission to bring back to life as many accordions as possible. Please, don't keep such a precious instrument in storage. Have it restored and played. Music has a great healing power. Share your inspiration with family and friends.
